You can also use medicinal herbs for the skin of the face in their natural form and prepare decoctions, infusions and masks from them at home.

dandelion

In cosmetology, dandelion has long been used for facial skin in anti-aging procedures. The plant also helps with dermatological problems, with the help of which you can get rid of freckles and whiten the skin of the face. The composition of the plant includes rubber substances, vitamins of groups A, B, C, E, PP, organic acids, resins, sterols and saponins.

The most effective are cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation, which use masks and cosmetic ice made from dandelion.

  1. anti-aging mask. To prepare this mask, you need to take dandelion juice in the amount of 5 ml, 1 avocado, 5 g strength. Make a puree out of the avocado and then mix all the ingredients together. The resulting mass should be applied to a pre-steamed face, left for 30 minutes, and then rinsed with cool water. The mask can be applied to the face 2 times a week. After several applications, deep and small skin folds are noticeably smoothed and the facial relief becomes more elastic.
  2. cosmetic ice cream. To prepare this product you will need: 10-15 ml of dandelion juice, 50 ml of distilled water, 5 ml of hazelnut oil. All the ingredients need to be mixed together, poured into molds and sent to the freezer. With ready-made cubes, you need to wipe your face, it is advisable to do this in the evening, the skin of the face must first be cleaned of makeup. The procedure should be carried out in sessions of 10 days, while the course of treatment should not exceed 3 times a year.

rosemary

Rosemary is a good substitute for any lifting agent as it contains the HSP70 protein which can slow down the aging process at the cellular level. In addition, the plant contains tannins, fatty acids, vitamins and trace elements that can heal and rejuvenate facial skin.

Most commonly, rosemary is used in the form of an essential oil, which is available at most beauty stores and pharmacies. To prepare cosmetics at home, it is necessary to grow the plant yourself, because in its natural form it very rarely gets on the shelves of stores and pharmacies.

  1. Rejuvenating Mask. To prepare the mask, you need to grind half a banana into a puree, and then add 50 ml of avocado oil and an infusion or decoction of rosemary. The amount of decoction or infusion must be calculated, since the finished mask should resemble thick sour cream in consistency. The product can be applied to the face 2-3 times a week, after which the skin becomes more elastic, wrinkles are smoothed.
  2. Decoction. To prepare a decoction, you need to take 20 g of dry rosemary leaves, pour 200 ml of boiling water and put in a water bath for 15-20 minutes. Ready broth must be filtered before use. Take 50 ml 2 times a day.
  3. Infusion. The remedy is prepared from 50 g of the leaves of the plant, which need to be poured with a glass of boiling water and infused for 3-4 hours. It is advisable to do this in a thermos or to wrap the container with the infusion in something warm. After the specified time, the infusion must be filtered.

Important! Rosemary decoctions and infusions can also be used in the form of compresses or used to make cosmetic ice cream.

chamomile

Chamomile contains many vitamins, trace elements and organic acids that are valuable for the body. All this together helps to rejuvenate, moisturize and brighten the facial skin, making it more elastic and supple. In cosmetology, the most effective result can be achieved using decoctions and infusions of chamomile.

  1. Decoction. To prepare the product, you need to pour dry chamomile flowers - 25 grams - with a glass of warm boiled water and put in a water bath for half an hour. The finished broth must be filtered and, if necessary, diluted with boiled water. Means wiping the skin of the face and décolleté. After application, wrinkles on the face are visibly reduced and smoothed.
  2. Infusion. To prepare an infusion of chamomile, you need to pour a tablespoon of the dried and crushed plant with a glass of boiling water and insist for half an hour. The finished product must be filtered and, as in the previous recipe, wipe the skin of the face with it.

sage

The use of sage for cosmetic purposes helps to cleanse the skin of the face and preserve its youth for a long time. The plant contains anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic substances, which is why sage is so widely used in cosmetology.

  1. Infusion for the face. Ready sage infusion can be used as an additive to lotion or tonic, as well as in the form of compresses and lotions for the face. To prepare a sage infusion, pour 3 tablespoons of dry raw materials with a glass of boiling water and insist in a thermos for 2 hours. The resulting infusion should be cooled, filtered, placed in the refrigerator and used as needed. From this infusion you can make cosmetic cubes - pour into molds and put in the freezer and wipe your face with it in the morning and in the evening.
  2. Decoction. A decoction of sage effectively affects the skin of the face, rejuvenates and tightens it. To prepare, pour boiling water over three tablespoons of sage and simmer for another 15 minutes. The resulting product should be cooled, sieved and washed with it once a day.

In nature, there are many medicinal plants that can be used effectively for cosmetic purposes. The main thing is to do it right so that the plant used does not harm, but can get the maximum benefit from the application.
